Connecting the World
I am a certified Kumamoto City regional interpreter and guide, as well as a certified regional concierge, domestic travel manager, and Japanese-English translator and interpreter, also a language lesson instructor.
Born in Fukuoka and raised in Kumamoto, spent two years studying international communication in Canada. Moved to New York in the United States, where I worked in the service industry for 12 years. During this time, I developed a strong sense of hospitality.
In 2011, I returned to Japan, leveraging English proficiency (TOEIC score of 910) to work as an English conversation instructor. Later, on industrial translation tasks primarily in a major semiconductor manufacturing equipment company.
With a passion for travel both domestically and internationally, I embarked on a six-month backpacking journey through Southeast Asia, visiting countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Nepal. Recognizing the beauty of connecting with people across borders, I aspire to convey the charm of Japan to foreign travelers as an interpreter. Currently, I am actively involved in developing services to promote internationalization and attract inbound visitors to my hometown, Kumamoto.
